About the Company: Our client is an international and growing construction and real estate development company with over 18 years of a solid track record, both in Hungary and abroad. Due to recent significant growth, they are now creating new layers in the organization. One of the newly created roles is for an Office Manager.
Job Title: Office Manager
General Objective: The Office Manager ensures the efficient and smooth operation of the company's daily administrative, organizational, and office tasks, while supporting the company's managers and employees.
General tasks:
- Coordinate and supervise daily office operations.
- Manage and develop the company's administrative systems.
- Perform administrative tasks, manage correspondence, archive documents, and update records.
- Organize and coordinate business meetings, events, and other activities.
- Arrange business trips for management and employees (e.g., flight tickets, hotel reservations, car rentals).
- Handle personnel-related tasks, such as recording working hours, managing holidays, and supporting new employee onboarding.
- Provide necessary office equipment and services, and liaise with suppliers.
- Monitor IT infrastructure and ensure its provision.
- Monitor and report on office budget and expenses.
- Liaise with the office's facility management representative.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, especially occupational safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the efficient and professional operation of the office.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Support employees and managers with administrative tasks.
- Maintain confidentiality of personal data and company information.
General Profile Requirements:
- At least secondary education, preferably in administration, business management, or office work.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar position or in office administration.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliability, accuracy, precision, and the ability to work independently.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle a significant workload.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in Hungarian and English.
- Effective time management and prioritization skills.
- Proficiency in using office software, such as Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and support colleagues.
- Adaptability to changing work conditions and tasks.
